Area 1 - Upper Peninsula

Amy and Randy Hubble

Amy and Randy have a vast experience with Pathfinder Ministries.  Both have led clubs on their own in various parts of Michigan.

​

Amy has been known to pull practical jokes on unsuspecting victims.

Area 2 -Northern Lower Peninsula

Craig and Cindy Morgan

Craig and Cindy live at Camp Au Sable and have served in Camp ministry for over 40 years.  They are a huge help to Pathfinder ministries checking on the status of the Northwoods on a weekly basis.  Both are avid kayakers.

Area 2 - Northern Lower Peninsula

Gordon and Karen Atkins

Gordon and Karen live at Camp Au Sable.  Gordon, otherwise known as the Nature Guy, serves as the Nature Center director at Camp.  Gordon served as the club director for the Eau Claire Critters for many years.

Gordon is an avid birder and Karen an expert seamstress.

Area 3 - Grand Rapids Area

Kirt and Sally Frain

Kirt and Sally live in Wyoming Michigan and served as club directors for the Wyoming Pathfinder club for many years.  Both Kirt and Sally are avid outdoor enthusiasts.  Kirt has done several iron man marathons.

Area 3 - Grand Rapids Area

Sergio and Esthela Gil

Sergio and Esthella live in Holland.  They are both great mentors for the youth in the local church.  They have led several young people to earn their Master Guides.  Two of their mentees are now Pathfinder directors.

Sergio teaches for the Lake Union Toolbox and Esthela is one of the best Mexican food cooks you will find!

Area 4 - Mid Michigan Area

Matt and Kristi Romashko

Matt and Kristi have led in a successful pathfinder club for several years.  They both have great professional experience in dealing with issues dealing with young people.  Their expertise is a blessing to Michigan.

Harvey and Ellie Sayles

Harvey and Ellie have been coordinators for many years.  They both have run a successful club in Michigan's thumb. Harvey was very instrumental in the building the Pathfinder Pavilion.

Area 5 - Lansing Area

Dave and Deb Christenson

Dave has directed clubs in both Minnesota and Michigan.  Deb has always been a great support in this endeavor.

​

Dave is the main instructor for our Basic Staff training and is always ready with his trumpet for the Pathfinder Song and flag raising.

Area 6 - Flint Area

Cathy and Brad Oliver

Cathy and Brad have assisted in leading the Holly club for many years.  Cathy serves as the Admin Assistant in the youth department and is the right hand for Pastor Craig. 

​

Brad served on the last Teen Mission trip to the Dominican Republic.  They both enjoy family and their grandchildren!

Area 7 - Berrien Springs Area

Dave and Judy Nelson

Dave and Judy were the directors for the largest club in Michigan for several years.  Their experience is a blessing to everyone!

​

Not only are they a great influence on directors, but for the young people as well.  They serve as "camp cooks" for almost every event we have!

Area 7 - Berrien Springs Area

Dan and Laurie Johnson

Dan and Laurie ran a successful club in the Flint area for several years.

​

They both are a great asset to Michigan Pathfinders.

Dan serves as our "Safety Guy" at our events and Laurie is helpful in March and Drill.  Dan is an electrician and Laurie loves to knit.​

Don and Erika Kissinger

Don and Erika were the directors of the Village Pathfinder club for many years.

​

Their "can do" attitude is very contagious.  They are willing to come early, stay late for whatever is needing to be done.  

They are both avid outdoor enthusiasts!

Area 8 - Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Areas

Bob and Cindy Fenwick

Bob and Cindy were directors of the Centreville Sentinels for several years.  Their legacy lives on in the club.

​

Bob is a very creative teacher of honors and brings fun to the learning.  He is also a lover of ice cream - he looks for every opportunity to indulge!

Area 9 - Detroit Area

Erin Gordon

Erin successfully started and maintained a Pathfinder club in Ireland for three years.

​

Erin is a nurse and serves as our head First Aid person at many of our events.  She is known to dig in and help at local clubs to help where needed.  She also helps the Pathfinder Department out administratively each year.

​

She is an avid lover of Geo-Caching and board games.

Master Guide Outdoors

Brian and Deanna Hutchins

Brian and Deanna successfully ran a large Pathfinder club in Michigan for many years.

​

Brian serves as Michigan's Master Guide Outdoors director.  He plans events such as hiking, backpacking, canoeing, etc.

​

We are very thankful to have both of them as part of our team!

GLAA - TLT and Master Guide Development

Jeff and Stephanie Akenberger

Jeff and Stephanie work at Great Lakes Adventist Academy where Jeff serves as the Chaplain and Steph serves as the registrar.

​

Jeff is instrumental in developing and maintaining the TLT/Master Guide program at a boarding academy, which is difficult to do.  Steph used to be the Admin Assistant in the Youth Department.

​

It is a developing program that has much potential.  We are thankful for both of their leadership in this program.
